This service is also provided online at www.cellphonesforsolders.com
The Cell Phone for Soldiers program was started in April 2004 by a 13 year-old girl and her brother in Norwell, Massachusetts. The goal is to help our soldiers serving overseas call home. Through generous donations and the recycling of used cell phones, thousands of calling cards have been distributed to soldiers around the world. The phones are sent to ReCellular, which pays Cell Phones for Soldiers for each donated phone—enough to provide an hour of talk time to soldiers abroad!
If you do not have a cell phone to donate you can go to www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com and make a cash donation through their secure site as well.
Batteries, chargers and accessories are not required but are gladly accepted!
